♥ Stilettos
My feet are killing me. I have been standing almost all day in the post graduate education and career fair in Mid Valley. I went there by komuter just to avoid the traffic jam. And I have been there yesterday and today. Luckily, I came back today with a colleague who drove there. At least I would not have to go through what I went through yesterday on the way back. I was pushing my way into the komuter and standing all the way to my destination which I finally got a seat one station before my stop. On top of that, of trying to be so-called sophisticated and chic, I wore my stilettos.
The excrutiating pain in the balls of my feet were unbearable. But I gave no sign of that on my face. Yela kan, pakai glemer kena maintain gitu. Ha..ha..
And the result - I have blisters on my feet. And I feel like soaking them in hot water.
Women - why do we like stilettos so much even if it causes us pain? Wouldn't it feel weird if you were dressed up sophisticatedly and looking glamorous but with flats? Well, I used to say, why torture the most important part of your body when you can walk comfortably with flats right? But the I guess women are just into it. Especially when they've tried a pair of stilettos on and see the image in the mirror. That's what happened to me. At first, I felt unstable wearing stilettos. Even a colleague commented me on the way I walked with stilettos. He said that I was a bit limping. But now, I think I am quite good in it. And they say I look sexy. Wallaaa... Mission accomplished. He..he..
I do wear flats on casual wear and in some ocassions. But when I feel like I would like some boost of confidence, I would wear my stilettos. And for just the same reason, I wore my stilettos to Mid Valley for the Post Graduate Education Fair yesterday and today. At least I did look gorgeous (I rasa la). :D
p/s: Did manage to get a new pair of stilettos yesterday even when my feet were killing me. Who can resist a 50% discount on gorgeous and sexy stilettos right? ;)
