♥ True Qualities In Men to Look for

I am in a good mood this morning. I got to ‘meet’ the person that currently I have a crush on. Who else – PHIL KEOGHAN!!! Ha..ha.. finally I got to watch the next episode the first time it was aired. And then at 11.40pm, there was a repeat of The Amazing Race 3 on NTV7. I missed the season because at that time, I didn’t like watching TAR. I thought it was a dull program. But when a friend of mine told me how exciting it was, I tried to watch it without a miss. It all started during TAR4 (the one where the married gay couple won the race).

Last night (TAR6), they raced from Stockholm, Sweden to Dakar, Senegal. They arrived at Dakar and had to find the cemetery of a famous poet to get to next clue. The next task was the detour – either stack ‘em up or pull ‘em up. If I was competing, I’d choose stack ‘em up. After seeing Hera and Don being seasick in the boat, I think I’d get sick too. But the best part was Mary Jean. She was so calm and relaxed even when her husband was throwing up and getting sick trying to catch only 4 fish!

Don and Mary Jean – a very romantic couple

After the detour, they arrived at the roadblock – The Lac Rose. Oh my God, the lake was pink in color! And it seemed so beautiful! They had to harvest salt from the lake using the traditional tools. Lori was amazing in carrying the heavy basin of salt on her head and got cheers from the locals. Well, she is a professional wrestler, so I was not that amazed by her strength. :-)

They were then asked to get to the pit stop of the race. Don and Mary Jean arrived last but this was one of the non-elimination rounds. They were safe! I really liked Don’s way of showing his love to his wife and really admitted that she was his soul mate, wife, lover and a great friend for being there for him all the way. That was so romantic!

TAR3 – What I want to highlight about this episode and season was Flo’s attitude. I was really annoyed by her attitude. She was crying and refusing to try to finish the race. Zach, her partner was so calm and supportive. She was just getting on my nerves but Zach made no attempt to push her or urge her so much. He just said that we’d take it one at a time. Wow… so understanding and so patient. Is there anyone out there like him?

Arrggghhh… she was so unmotivated

Eventually they arrived last but this was the last of the non-elimination pit stop. How lucky for them.

I was really amazed by the two men – Zach and Don. They showed the good qualities in men. Well, I guess now we know that these men do exist. :-)
